~seeking communion~
~in the shadows of giants~
~a succession of rites~
~life larger than we~
~ever imagined~
~it could be~
~as safe & secure~
~in the wild & lonely~
~as in mother’s sweet arms~
~possessed of a decisive resolve~
~an acceptance of ends~
~a breeze whisper prayer~
~a breath & a sigh~
~through pine needle boughs~
